Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) had released Official Notification for RRB Group D Level 1 Recruitment on 12th March 2019. RRB will be recruiting 1,03,769 vacancies for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, Assistant Pointsman, Level-I posts through three stages selection process- CBT, PET, and Medical/Document Verification.
Candidates willing to know the detailed syllabus of RRB Group D exam must first keep abreast with the latest RRB Group D selection process or exam pattern.
As prescribed in the official RRB Group D notification, the selection process of RRB Group D exam comprises four stages excluding the RRB Group D Apply Online process and issuance of RRB Group D Admit Card.

All those candidates who filled RRB Group D registration forms and received the admit cards have to appear for the RRB Group D CBT test.
The compute- based test of RRB Group D exam is conducted for 90 minutes. A total of 100 questions are asked and there is a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong attempt in the CBT.

Candidates based on the performance in the CBT are selected for the PET tests. Candidates will be selected for PET 3 times the number of vacancies.
After the PET test, RRB Group D results are announced. Marks scored by candidates in CBT are normalised and then the results for RRB Group D will be made available online in PDF format displaying the qualifying candidates.
Based on candidates’ performance in CBT and their qualification in PET round, 1.05 times candidates to the number of RRB Group D vacancies are called for Document verification process.
Candidates have to appear for the medical examination round after the verification of documents. The final letter of appointment is issued to candidates who are found medically fit.
